June is Pride Month
June is Pride Month

June is Pride Month!

Pride Month commemorates the 1969 Stonewall protest in New York City, and recognizes the impact that lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and intersex (LGBTQI+) individuals have had on history–locally, nationally, and internationally.

GCPS celebrates each and every individual as we cultivate a culture of belonging while leading with empathy, equity, and excellence to ensure that TeamGCPS students, families and staff feel welcome, safe, accepted, valued, and prepared for the future.
