GCPS students will be on break from Thursday, February 13, through Monday, February 17. Students and staff return to learning on Tuesday, February 18. Please note that GCPS does not offer meal service on student holidays.

INTENT TO OPT OUT OF HOMESTEAD EXEMPTION
The Gwinnett County Board of Education intends to opt out of the statewide adjusted base year ad valorem homestead exemption for the Gwinnett County School District. All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearings on this matter.
The first hearing was held on January 16 at 6 p.m. The second and third public hearings will take place on February 20 at 11:00 a.m. and 6 p.m. All of the public hearings are scheduled to take place in the Board Room at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center, 437 Old Peachtree Road, NW, Suwanee, GA 30024.
