As required by law, the Gwinnett County Board of Education (BOE) will hold three public hearings as part of its process for opting out of House Bill 581. The first hearing was held on January 16 at 6 p.m. The second and third public hearings will take place on February 20 at 11:00 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Congratulations are in order! Brookwood High School and North Gwinnett High School had their Esports teams earn Georgia High School Association (GHSA) State Championship titles for their work on Super Smash Brothers Ultimate (Brookwood) and League of Legends (North Gwinnett) for the 2024-25 season.
