  • Principal, Brookwood High School At Brookwood, we strive to match academics, athletics and the arts with a strong sense of community and school pride. The Georgia Department of Education has repeatedly recognized Brookwood with AP Merit and AP Honors distinctions, and U.S. News & World Report and The Washington Post have named us among the most highly ranked high schools in the country. Our Science Olympiad team has earned the state championship since 2011, and our athletic teams have won 60 state championships, most recently the 2019 Boys Swimming, Girls Swimming, and Boys Tennis state titles.

We also impress upon our students, all 3,600 or so of them, the importance of being Brookwood UPSTANDERS and recognize them for exhibiting strong character. Our March to One Million (M1M) charitable fundraising campaign is an example of how we work together for the benefit of others. Since Fall 2014, when Brookwood launched M1M, the school and its organizations have raised more than $600,000 for charity.

We welcome you to experience Brookwood and its tradition of excellence.

    William Bo Ford, Jr.
    Principal, Brookwood High School
