  • CMS band students had a successful showing at the GMEA District 13 auditions this past weekend:

    The following were selected for the District 13 Honor Band:

    Kaelyn Lange- Flute

    Melissa Bischof- Clarinet

    Isaac Bergomosco- Trumpet

    Jordan Morrissette- Trombone

    Gavin Crosby- Trombone

    Ryan Lin- Alto Saxophone

    Joseph Lee- Clarinet

    Parv Mahajan- Tenor Saxophone

    Antoine Rucker- Trumpet

    The following students passed the first round audition and will participate in the All State audition in January

  • Three CMS students were selected to have their projects featured at the GMEA Music Technology Student Showcase as part of the Georgia Music Educators Association In-service Conference.

  • Coleman Middle School will be hosting our second quarter PBL (Project Based Learning) showcases during the month of December. Coleman students and teachers have been busy conducting their PBL launches in the last few weeks. Our students would appreciate your input and feedback on their final prototypes and projects on the dates and times listed below. Feel free to invite any of your colleagues to attend our events.

    We have included the grade level driving question along with the dates and times. Please follow the link below for the Google form to sign-up for the showcase prior to attending (this makes check-in move quickly).  

    8th grade Driving Question:

  • The building doors open at 8:50. Car riders and buses will unload at 8:50. Parents will not be allowed to escort students to classrooms; we will have plenty of teachers to help students find their classes. The official school day begins at 9:20 and students are tardy after this time. We will dismiss at 4 PM. 

    PLEASE DO NOT USE BUS LANES FOR DROP OFF – CAR RIDERS ALWAYS USE THE BACK PARKING LOT!
