Fall 2022 Pizza Fundraiser

  • Thanks for supporting BHS DECA. Purchase a $15 Slice the Price Card now through Oct. 14. Cards entitle you to a free large pizza with every purchase of a Domino's large pizza. Use the card as often as you like through June 30, 2023. Just think: You could buy 10 pizzas for a party and get 10 FREE, or buy 100 pizzas and get 100 FREE.

    1. Ask a BHS DECA club member;

    2. OR visit slicethepricecard.com/37964 to buy cards and have them shipped to you ($1 shipping fee);

    3. OR go to MyPaymentsPlus and click "School Fundraisers." Choose any number of cards. Cards will be delivered the week of Oct. 24.

    Snack Drive for Eastside Medical Center

    One of the many philanthropic efforts DECA Club has coordinated in recent years was a snack drive for Eastside Medical Center’s healthcare workers. Members of DECA, National Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society, Rho Kappa, Science National Honor Society, SGA, and the Peer Leader Program donated items. In all, they contributed more than 200 boxes, packages, and bundles of snacks, drinks and treats.

WHAT IS DECA?

    DECA is an association of marketing students.  Members develop a program of work that includes local, national, and international DECA activities.

    Activities include:       

        •     Community Service Projects
        •     Atlanta Braves - Business of Baseball
        •     Gwinnett Officers Installation Ceremony
        •     Competitive Events Program
        •     Fall Leadership and Power Up Conferences
        •     Chick-fil-A Breakfasts and DECA Fridays

    Eligibility:  Any student who has taken or is taking a marketing course. Students with an interest in marketing or entrepreneurship are also encouraged to join.

    Meetings:  3rd Wednesday of the month in The Commons

    Time Commitment:  One hour/month on program of work activities.
