SkillsUSA empowers its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American citizens. SkillsUSA improves the quality of our nation's future skilled workforce through the development of Framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.

There are monthly meetings and guest speakers in areas of interview skills, building strong resumes, dining etiquette, professional dress, prepping for a multitude of competitions. Some examples of competitions are entrepreneurship "pitch," public speaking, extemporaneous speaking, photography, web design, graphic design, quiz bowl, graphic design, job skill demo (mostly related to aquaponics), interview skills, customer service, audiovisual, music video, community service project, outstanding student, principles of engineering, and many more!

We participate in three trips: Leadership Conference (overnight trip to Atlanta), Regional Competitions, State Competitions (2 night trip to Atlanta), and potentially a 4th trip to National Competition over the summer!
