Register for a free MyPaymentsPlus account if you do not have one. With this account, you will have 24/7 access, including:
- Prepayments for breakfast/lunch, with auto-pay capability
- Student cafeteria balances and purchase history
- Low balance e-mail reminders
- AP exam registration and payment
- Online open house and orientation
- Summer school registration and payment
- Other fees and activities such as yearbooks, uniforms, field trips and more!

If you are enrolling for next school year (2023-2024), please make sure you select 23-24 when completing the enrollment paperwork. If you complete the 22-23 enrollment forms, registration will be denied and, unfortunately, you will have to fill out all the paperwork again. Current students and rising 9th grade NGMS students will automatically be enrolled and do NOT need to be registered. Contact Amy Cornett with any questions.
If you are enrolling a new student , please follow the two steps below:
1 – Complete the online enrollment by choosing the appropriate box as directed below.2 – Set up an appointment with a counselor.
Please call the school to set up an appointment to meet with the counselor to select courses for the student.

My student is brand new to Gwinnett County Public Schools
Please note: New international students must visit the International Newcomers Center (INC) BEFORE you can enroll at our school. Please visit their website for more information and to schedule an appointment. You may also schedule an appointment by calling 678-985-5200.
Step 1: Online Registration
Families of students who are brand new and have never attended a GCPS school should begin by completing the district's online registration process. Access the online registration from this link.
Step 2: In-Person Verification
Once online registration is complete, please schedule an appointment with our Registrar, Amy Cornett, and your student’s counselor by calling 770-271-5165.
You'll need to bring several documents with you to ensure your student can be registered in one visit. Please contact us if you have any questions about the required documents.
Documents Required for Enrollment:
- Student's birth certificate
- Enrolling parent/guardian's driver’s license or other official photo identification
- Student's Social Security card
- Immunization record (Georgia Form 3231)
- Hearing/Vision/Dental (Georgia Form 3300)
- Previous school transcript (or for rising 9th graders, a final 8th grade report card)
- Withdrawal form from the previous school
- Discipline records from the previous school
- TWO proofs of residency in the form of your lease, deed, or current homeowner’s insurance policy AND a current gas, water, or power bill
- Any special education or gifted eligibility information (as applicable)
Please note, only the following people are allowed to enroll a student:
- Parent (natural or adoptive)
- Legal guardian (must provide legal documentation)
- Foster parent approved by a state agency
- Kinship Caregiver

My student is transferring from another Gwinnett County Public School
Step 1: Withdraw from Current School
To transfer schools, you must first withdraw your student from their current school. That school will provide you with a Change of Status Form (and a withdrawal form.) The enrolling parent will need to complete the Change of Status Form and submit it, along with the other required documentation, to the new school.
Step 2: Visit North Gwinnett High School
Once you have the completed Change of Status Form, please schedule an appointment with our Registrar, Amy Cornett, and your student’s counselor by calling 770-271-5165.

- Change of Status form and withdrawal form (provided by previous school)
- Two proofs of residency in the form of a lease, deed, or current homeowner’s insurance policy AND a current gas, water, or power bill
- Student's birth certificate
- Enrolling parent/guardian's driver’s license or other official photo identification
- Student's Social Security card
- Immunization record (Georgia Form 3231)
- Hearing/Vision/Dental (Georgia Form 3300)

My student is returning to Gwinnett County Public Schools
Please note: Rising 9th grade students from North Gwinnett Middle School and returning North Gwinnett High School Students do NOT need to register. You can update student information through the parent portal, as needed.
Reenrolling Students
Students who have previously attended a GCPS school at any point in their academic career (no matter the amount of time) already have a GCPS student ID number and are considered re-enrolling students.
Step 1: Online Registration
Families of students who are re-enrolling should begin by completing the district's online registration process. MAKE SURE to choose the option for a parent/guardian that is NOT NEW to GCPS. Access online registration from this link. If you cannot log in to your existing account, you will need to complete your registration on paper in the office at your appointment. Please do not set up a new account as we will not be able to link your new information to the student’s already existing ID number.
Step 2: Visit North Gwinnett High School
Once online registration is complete, please schedule an appointment with our Registrar, Amy Cornett, and your student’s counselor by calling 770-271-5165.

- PERMISSIVE TRANSFERS:
Please refer to the GCPS website for a listing of GCPS schools accepting permissive transfers. Currently, a student can only attend North Gwinnett High School if the family resides in the North Gwinnett cluster. Parents can determine if their address is in our cluster by checking this site.
- WITHDRAWALS:
The enrolling parent will need to come to the school, fill out withdrawal paperwork, and show their ID. Please contact Ms. Shimmin at 770-271-5182 prior to arriving and to set up an appointment, if desired. Allow 48 hours for paperwork to be available for pickup.
