Environmental & Gardening Club
Description
We will meet monthly to discuss environmental-related topics and concerns. We will also discuss ways that DMS and residents of Duluth can reduce our environmental impact. We will be using videos, games, discussions and other interesting formats to introduce and analyze information about these topics.

Junior Beta Club
Description
National Junior Beta is an honor society for 8th graders only. In Junior Beta, students will learn to promote the ideals of achievement, leadership, character, and service. Students interested will be selected based on 7th grade yearlong grades, and a review of discipline records.

NJAHS (National Junior Art Honor Society)
Description
Students participate in extra-curricular art-making and exhibition opportunities, collaborative group art projects as well as individual creations. Readers Rally
Description
The Gwinnett Readers Rally is a quiz bowl style competition for students in grades 4–12. Students read books from a predetermined list and answer questions about those books. Each Gwinnett County school may send one team of up to 10 players to the Readers Rally. There are yearly Readers Rally competitions throughout the county.

The WIldcat Chef Cooking Club
Description
The Cat Chefs is a brand new club at Duluth Middle School, and we will explore elements of culinary delights, ranging from various cultures and cooking styles, all while learning basic kitchen safety procedures and tools. Each month, we will meet to create some sort of dish together, sometimes with the help of guest chefs from our school and community. At the end of each meeting, the Cat Chefs will expand our palates by trying the food we've created, as well as various ingredients/items from that month's themed dish. Following our first month's meeting, which will be open to all interested students, those who desire to join the Cat Chefs will be required to pay a small club fee to cover the cost of materials/food.

Description
One of the most essential considerations when playing badminton is to stay comfortable while engaging in rigorous activity. Description
We at Duluth Middle School are happy to provide an intramural program for all 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade students at no cost to you. The purpose of the program is to develop physical skills and help students learn about teamwork, sportsmanship, respect for others, and the development of good self-esteem. Volleyball Club
Description
The Volleyball Club at DMS is a social club where students can learn about strategies, techniques, and positions in the sport of volleyball, all while having fun!!! Volleyball is an activity for ALL HEIGHTS of players! Students are encouraged to join if they want to have fun, play volleyball, and meet new students at DMS. Boys and girls can both join and any grade level is welcome to join. Meeting dates are yet to be determined, but our first meeting will be in September. Mr. Campbell will soon announce the date of the first session.
Dress Code: Dress comfortably! Tennis shoes or sneakers are required. We recommend wearing shorts, leggings, t-shirts, etc.. anything you don’t mind breaking a sweat in!

Wildcat Swim Club
Description
Wildcat Swim Club will include 6th-8th grade swimmers from Duluth and Coleman Middle Schools who plan to swim at Duluth High School. In order to join the team, swimmers must be able to swim 2 laps of freestyle and 2 laps of backstroke unassisted and must maintain passing grades to compete in meets. On swim team, we will compete against many other middle school teams and finish with a championship in December.
