First Quarter Exams
As we wrap up the end of our first quarter here at Peachtree Ridge High School, our students will be taking their final exams for all quarter 1 classes on October 3rd and 4th. All final exams will be taken in person at Peachtree Ridge High School. As a reminder, Chromebooks are needed for final exams. Students should bring their GCPS issued Chromebook fully charged for final exams on Tuesday and Wednesday.If your student has a damaged or lost Chromebook, please direct them to the Media Center for Chromebook support this week. We will be on a modified schedule during these two days (see below). Students will be released for buses, walkers, drivers and car riders at 11:20 am. Upon dismissal, school buses will be available to provide transportation home. Also, non-emergency checkouts are not permitted during final exam days.After school events and practices will likely have an altered schedule during these two days. Please check with coaches or sponsors for specific details. - check grades to ensure all work has been completed and turned in
- look for review materials which may be available on eClass or Google Classroom pages
- ensure a healthy breakfast and a good night's sleep prior to their exams
- be on the lookout for emails from teachers with more specific information to support your student
- charge Chromebooks the night before exams
- encourage them to do their best

Driver's License and Learner's Permit Certificate
To request certificates for applying for your learner's permit or your driver's license, go to www.mypaymentsplus.com and look under school fees.
The fee is $5.00 and will be processed in 3-5 business days.
SUMMER REQUESTS will be mailed out 1-2 days after your initial request. Please order your COE form at least one week prior to your appointment to ensure that you receive the form(s) in time."
If you have recently moved and have not notified school with new documentation (i.e. lease/utility), you MUST contact martha.I.kuhn@gcpsk12.org to update your address before we can process the Certificate of Enrollment.Options include:

Driver's Education
To enroll in Driver's Education register through the Peachtree Ridge Community School.

Student Work Permits
Work permits are done electronically via the Georgia Department of Labor.
Online Work Permit Application
A certified copy of the birth certificate or birth registration card for the minor is required before the Permit can be printed. Please bring this with you when you and the prospective employer have completed the online application.

Attendance and Checking Out
Students must bring a signed note to the Attendance Clerk, Shirin Lalani (Front Lobby) BEFORE SCHOOL BEGINS:- The note must have a full student name, student ID number, parent signature, reason, time of check out and a phone number where the parent can be reached for verification.
- The student will be responsible for making up any work missed during this time.
If the student is not a driver (parked in the student lot) a parent or authorized person will need to bring I.D to the front lobby Attendance Desk to check out the student.Students are only allowed to check out with individuals listed on the student's profile. 2023-24 Parking Permits

Parking Pass pick up for applications paid July 15 through midnight July 26, 2023 will be held on JULY 27, 2023
You MUST bring a photocopy of your license and insurance card, and proof of payment to pick up your pass and to select your parking spot. Learners Permits are not accepted.LOCATION: Peachtree Ridge HS

JUNIORS and SENIORS - 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM

PARKING PASSES PURCHASED AFTER JULY 26, 2023 will be available for pick up in the Advanced Placement Office, A102 (across from RVN) during regular school hours, starting AUGUST 2nd! In-school parking pass distribution times will be communicated to students and posted on the school website.

Peachtree Ridge High School DOES NOT have an established agreement with any surrounding neighborhoods or churches for off-campus student parking.
