Families of students who are new to GCPS should begin by completing the district's online registration process. Access online registration from this link. You must complete and submit your entire online registration at the same time.
You will need the following items to complete online registration:
- Active e-mail address
- Home address and phone number
- Additional phone numbers for parents or guardians
- Up to four emergency contacts (and their phone numbers)
- Contact information for day care or babysitter if they are the student's primary means of transportation
- Medications and health concerns
- Prior school information, including school phone number
- Discipline information
- Student's Social Security Number (optional)

My student is transferring from another Gwinnett County school
Step 1: Obtain a Change of Status Form
The GCPS school from which the student is withdrawing should provide the Change of Status form (along with a withdrawal form) to the family requesting the change.
Parents of students transferring from one GCPS school to another should complete the Change of Status Form, submitting it along with proper documentation to the new GCPS school.

My student is reenrolling in Gwinnett County Public Schools
Reenrolling Students
Students who have previously attended a GCPS school at any point in their academic career already have a student ID number and are considered re-enrolling students.
Parents of re-enrolling students must complete registration using paper forms. Online registration is not an option as it would create a duplicate record of your student in our systems.
You will need to provide the school with copies of the following documents:- Student's birth certificate
- Student's Social Security card
- Immunization record (Georgia Form 3231)
- Hearing/Vision/Dental (Georgia Form 3300)
- Final 2019-2020 report card showing proof of grade
- Proof of residency in the form of your lease or deed
- AND a gas, water, or power bill
- AND a gas, water, or power bill
- Any special education or gifted eligibility information (as applicable)
- Report cards or official school transcript
- Withdrawal form from previous school
- Discipline records for students enrolling in grades 7 or 8
Proof of Authorized Person to Enroll
The following persons are authorized to enroll students:
- Parent (natural or adoptive)
- Legal guardian
- Foster parent approved by a state agency
- Sponsor for approved International Exchange Program
The person authorized to enroll must present one of the following:- Driver's License
- State-approved identification card
- Passport
- Other official photo identification
- Student's birth certificate
Some Important Notes

Trickum is NOT on the Gwinnett County list of permissive transfer schools. Please refer to the GCPS website for a listing of those schools. A student can only attend Trickum if the family resides in the Parkview cluster. Parents can determine if their address is in our cluster by calling 678-301-7085 or checking the GCPS website.
Rising 6th grade students from Arcado, Camp Creek, Knight and Mountain Park DO NOT need to register.
Get a free MyPaymentsPlus account if you do not already have one. Through this account you sign off on required documents and agreements online. These documents will not be ready until late July, but you can create an account now if you don't already have one.
Attention Parents/Guardians of International Students:
Please call the International Newcomers Center for an appointment at 678-985-5200 before registering at Trickum Middle School.
