  • Attention families of students who need to re-take a class for graduation!

Credit Recovery Session#4 will start March 8th. Credit Recovery is $75 and must be paid through My Payments Plus before March 5th. (The Credit Recovery box will be located under Before/After School Programs).

Credit Recovery is a program for students to recover credit for previously failed core classes (math, science, social studies, language arts).  Elective classes CANNOT be recovered through Credit Recovery.

Students take a condensed version of the course to earn credit towards graduation. Successful credit recovery grades will appear on a student’s transcript, but it will NOT replace the failed grade.

Who is eligible?  Students who have previously taken and failed a core course (for which CR is available) Please note that CR is offered at a standard, college preparatory class level.  Resource, Co-Taught, Honors, Gifted, and Advanced Placement courses are not available. In addition, Accelerated Math courses are not available.

SGHS Credit Recovery Registration is open NOW to March 5th and will close when all seats are filled. Classes will be March 8th - April 16th.

Applications are available below, at the front desk, and from your Academy counselor. Please see the application for more details.
