Gwinnett Online Campus, Summer 2021
Graduate Gwinnett courses are scheduled for a 20-day window.
- An option for seniors who are on track to graduate in May with the addition of one Graduate Gwinnett course (0.5 credit)
- Students who are eligible for this option will remain full-time students with their home school
- Eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis
- The enrollment deadline is April 2

- Students will register through MyPayments Plus
- Offered to current 9th – 12th graders
- Rising 9th graders can take Health and PE on a tuition basis
- Students may take up to 2 summer school and/or credit recovery courses (0.5 credit each)
- For example: a student may take 2 summer school courses, 2 credit recovery courses, or one of each
- Students may pay to take additional courses with approval from the local school counselor
- Gwinnett County Public Schools will pay for up to two summer school classes for high school students needing to retake a class they previously failed. The district is offering this option to students at no cost to address COVID-related learning gaps and to provide students with an additional opportunity to earn credit for courses failed this year
- Local school counselors will approve all courses through MPP
- GCPS Funded
- Cost: No charge
- This option is available to students who previously failed a course. Courses can be taken through our regular summer school offerings or GOC credit recovery
- Tuition Based
- Cost: $250 per 0.5 credit course
- GOC will offer our regular summer course offerings
- This is open to all students who want to get ahead or take more than 2 classes
- Counselors will complete a course overload form for students taking more than 2 classes
- Rising 9th graders are eligible to take Health and PE can register on a tuition basis
- GOC will offer our regular summer school courses

- Students will have 3 weeks during the summer term to complete their credit recovery courses at GOC
- Students must meet GCPS criteria to participate in credit recovery classes based on approval by the local school counselor
- Courses are developed by GCPS teachers, aligned to the AKS, and designed to target gaps in student learning

Gwinnett Online Campus Instructional Delivery
Students complete digital content asynchronously online. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in on-campus labs, clubs, and activities or login virtually to synchronous sessions one day per week for grades 6-12 and 2 days per week for grades 4-5.
Registration is in-person at Gwinnett Online Campus. Parents may register between 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
- Session One Start Date: August 16

- Must have 18+ earned credits to qualify
- A semester encompasses four 20-day sessions
- One course (0.5 credit) per session
- Must be pre-approved before enrollment
