Brookwood Engineering Club will enter national, and in some cases international, contests that challenge students' creativity, problem-solving ability, engineering know-how, and sportsmanship. One such example is a contest sponsored by NASA Ames Research Center in conjunction with the National Space Society. Another is the Texas Instruments TI Codes Contest.
Founding Members:
This is a student-initiated club etablished in Fall 2021 by a group of Brookwood High School students who competed together in the coding and robotics arena since middle school.- William Li, Steven Li, Ethan Shust, Farhan Baig, Sam Barskiy, and Justin Mead won a first place award at the INTERNATIONAL level in the 10th Grade category of the 2021 National Space Society Space Settlement Contest. - William Li, Steven Li, Niheer Patel, Sam Barskiy, and Ethan Shust placed fourth overall at the NATIONAL level in the 2021 Texas Instruments Coding Contest for the second consecutive year. Click these links for their 2021 and 2020 entries.
