In conjunction with the Office of the Secretary of State of Georgia, Student Ambassadors provide students with an opportunity to engage as leaders within their schools and communities. Through the Student Ambassadors Program, students engage in Georgia civics, encouraging voter registration among their peers and volunteering within their communities. Activities: Designed for 10th-12th grade students, our team is limited to nine civic and leadership-minded, students. During the fall of the academic year, we will attend a regional Kick-Off event where we receive all the training and resources that we will need to run a successful program in our community. Our team will decide our goals for our school and how to achieve them. Throughout the year, we will organize and carry out various events related to elections, such as registration drives for eligible students. For each event that we conduct, we receive points towards the statewide competition. The school with the most points at the end of the year is recognized at the Student Ambassador Awards Ceremony.
