  • Spring Book Fair

    The Book Fair is at Minor now!  We will be open from 9:00-2:30 through Thursday, March 28th.  The Book Fair is an opportunity for families to buy affordable, popular books while also fundraising for the school!  If you are unable to come to the school while we are hosting the Book Fair, you can shop online until April 7th and your books will be delivered for free to Minor.   • Gwinnett Grows Kindergarten Registration

    Kindergarten Registration is May 2, 2019.  

    WHO:  Rising kindergartners - children who will be 5 years old on or before September 1, 2019 - and their parents or guardians.

    WHAT:  Register for the 2019-20 school year.  (Parents may complete some paperwork online, starting April 1.  Online Registration Paperwork

    WHERE:  Visit the school website to register online, beginning April 1, and complete the registration process here at the school on May 2.

    WHEN:  Thursday, May 2, 2019 from 10 am until 2 pm

    WHY:  Your child will complete the Kindergarten Readiness Entry Profile, allowing your child's teacher to be ready to welcome your new kindergartner on the first day of school - Monday, August, 5, 2019.  (Look online for other important calendar dates for the 2019-20 school year.)

    PLEASE BRING:  Your child; an official document showing proof of birth date; evidence of vision, hearing, dental, and nutrition screenings obtained in the past year (a current Georgia Form #3300-Rev. 2013); a valid Certificate of Innunization (Georgia Form #3231); proof that you live in the attendance zone; proof of authorized person to enroll; the child's social security number (or you may sign a waiver at the school); and a photo ID for the adult registering the child.  

    BRING YOUR RISING KINDERGARTNER WITH YOU ON MAY 2!  Your child will complete a Kindergarten Readiness Entry Profile and take part in other activities.  It's very important that your child participate in this exciting day.

    Steam Night is Thursday, March 21st from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

  • Berkmar High School Media Center Extended Hours

    Berkmar High School offers extended hours in the Media Center.  Any Berkmar Cluster Student or Parent may visit the Media Center to use computers and resources available.  Here is the schedule for February.

  • Digital Learning Day

    If bad weather causes school to be cancelled or dismissed early, public announcements will be made on GCPS TV, on the school system’s website, on GCPS Twitter and Facebook, through SchoolMessenger calls and optional texts, and via metro-Atlanta radio and television stations. Full-day cancellations usually are announced by 6 a.m.

    In the event that Gwinnett County Public Schools decides to utilize a Digital Learning Day, students will log onto eCLASS to complete assignments.
