Virtual Career Day
Students from Grayson High School and Grayson Technical Education Program participated in a fun-filled and rewarding Virtual Career Day sponsored by Cox Automotive on Wednesday, March 31st. The event included sessions with Cox Automotive leaders, virtual job shadowing, panel discussions along with games, prizes and give aways. Student attendees, affectionately dubbed as "future interns" during the day, were able to showcase their technology knowledge and expertise in break-out sessions. Five students were selected as Session MVP's and each were awarded $200 gift cards prizes. Congratulations to our MVP winners: Vishwa Gangadin, Andre Nienaber, Ian Riggins, Miles Brown, and Matthew Matos. Matthew also won the culminating technology trivia game which earned him the $500 grand prize gift card award. The students, staff and Cox Automotive industry leaders are excited about this powerful partnership and plan to continue to expand in the years to come.
