• Color Guard / Winter Guard

     

  • The Color Guard is the visual representation of the music for the marching band show. They spin Flags, Rifles, and Sabres in addition to learning choreography. Color Guard is part of the Marching Band and attends all varsity football games as well as 2-3 competitions. The Winter Guard is a separate group that performs with flags, rifles, sabres, and choreography to music in a gym for competitions in the winter months (Nov - April).

    Membership Requirements: Must audition and make the team

    Meeting Day & Time: Monday, Tuesday and Thursdays 3-5:30 for Color Guard, Winter Guard are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 -7pm

    Meeting Location: Commons at DHS or Practice Field behind stadium

    Financial Obligation: Auditions for Color Guard are in the Spring (April/May) of the previous semester and Winter Guard Auditions typically take place around October/November. There are fees required to join both Winter or Color Guard. Fees are around $600.
