For important parent/student information, all Parkview High School parents are asked to visit www.MyPaymentsPlus.com, where you will find various important GCPS documents you need to acknowledge. Here, you can add money to your students' cafeteria accounts. This is also where you will pay for school fees throughout the year, such orientation fees, PTSA memberships, lockers, certificates of enrollment, transcripts, parking, field trips, club dues, yearbook, etc.

If you do not have a MyPaymentsPlus account, please go to the MyPaymentsPlus website mentioned above and set up your free account and add your student(s). The following videos explain how to use MyPayments Plus:

  • Lunch Money Refund Request

    school lunch account

If you have a senior with money on his/her lunch account, you may request a refund or have the funds transferred to another student's account. To request a refund, download the GCPS  Refund Request Form, or pick one up from a cashier in the cafeteria. If you have automatic deduction set up on your MyPaymentsPlus account, you will need to cancel deductions in your account before we can issue a refund. The refund request form is available in alternative formats for accessibility by clicking the A icon link next to the document name above.

If you have another GCPS student, the funds from your senior's account can be transferred at the end of the school year to a sibling's lunch account. In order to make the transfer, we will need student ID numbers for both students.  To transfer money to another account or to ask general questions, please call the Jungle Café at 770-806-3746.

  • Visitor Management System (VMS)

As part of Gwinnett County Public Schools' focus on safety, our school is now using a visitor management system. This system, which requires visitors to be "buzzed" into the school, is intended to enhance the safety and security for both our students and staff by establishing greater door control. At our school, we have a number of entrances where you will find cameras and keypads that are part of the new system. With safety in mind, we want to share with you how the visitor management system works.

    1. During normal arrival and dismissal times, main entrances are open to allow students to enter and leave the school.
    2. Once the school day begins, doors will be locked. Visitors will need to press the bell button on the visitor management system panel and an office staff member will assist them.
    3. We continue to ask visitors to our school to use the main entrance. Upon entering the school, they should follow our normal visitor procedure by signing in to receive a visitor's badge.
    4. When visitors are ready to leave, they should exit the school building through the main entrance and officially check out.

As you know, Parkview is unique in that we have multiple buildings on our campus. As such, we have more doors than many schools--doors that students use to move between buildings during the day. As part of our updated safety measures, we will be adding the new visitor management system to entrances beyond our main entrance.

What does this mean for Parkview students and staff? These doors will be open during class change and for a minute after the tardy bell. However, they then will be locked and students and staff will need to use the buzzer to gain entrance. This will allow us to better monitor and manage who is entering and leaving the school. While we always ask students to move between classes in a timely manner, this will be even more important moving forward.

The visitor management system has been implemented successfully at other Gwinnett schools and the addition of this system to our campus will have a positive impact on our campus safety efforts. Thank you for your continued support and for working with us to ensure the safety of our students and staff.
