Please check the resources below if you are in need of WiFi during our DLD days:
Find low-cost Internet and affordable computers in your area.
Comcast and Spectrum are offering two months of FREE internet service for students who do not have internet service, to help communities directly or indirectly affected by COVID-19. In addition, Spectrum and Xfinity (Comcast) wifi hotspots in Gwinnett and across the country will be open to the public starting March 16, 2020. See the links below:

Virtual Author Visit with C.M. Heidicker- Scary Stories for Young Foxes
- Virtual visit videos that run just over an hour. They can be watched in episodes for shorter experiences. Best for grades 2-7, and those who enjoy scary stories!

Home Safari Facebook Live with Cincinnati Zoo
- Presented Monday-Friday at 3 p.m., each session highlights an animal and an activity to do at home. The first session on Monday, March 16 features Fiona the Hippo!

Media Catalog
Students may access the Media Catalog through the student portal by clicking on the Media Catalog icon. Students log in to the Media Catalog using the same username and password they use to the student portal. Once a student is logged in, he or she may access our collection of Follett eBooks, see which books he or she has checked out, and hold books (grades 3-5 only).

Online Research
Students have access to a wide variety of free resources from anywhere they are, simply by logging on to the student portal. Students can complete research using Britannica, Facts4Me, or Pebble Go; learn about science and history using PowerKnowledge or FreedomFlix, and enjoy stories through BookFlix, Tumblebooks, or Speakaboos.

eBooks
Our school provides over 700 eBooks for our students. We have several different platforms for these eBooks. Our Follett eBooks are similar to using Overdrive from the public library. To access these eBooks, students must log in to the Media Catalog. Our Capstone eBooks can be accessed by using the Capstone app or clicking on the web tile from our eClass page. These books read aloud to our students. Finally, our ABDO eBooks are accessible through the ABDO website or by clicking the web tile from our eClass page.
