    To be more eco-friendly, we will no longer be printing and mailing our school meal menus. But don’t worry – we’ve now made it easier to access your school menus anytime, from any device. Here’s how:

    The Gwinnett County School Nutrition Program has 1,400 Food Service Professionals providing meal service in 132 schools. In SY17 the School Nutrition Programs served on average 177,449 meals per day. In SY17 there were 20,911,184 lunches and 10,686,866 breakfasts served!

    Federal subsidies allow for meals to be offered free and at a reduced price to qualifying students as well as at a reasonable price for paying students. 

    Student Meal Prices:

    Breakfast - $1.50/$0.30 Reduced Breakfast

    Lunch - $2.50/$0.40 Reduced Lunch

    Free and Reduced Lunch Information

    GCPS offers both printed and online options for completion. Please remember a new application must be submitted each school year since the previous year's application will not work. Each new school year brings thousands of applications for the Free and Reduced Price Meal program. Due to the number of applications received an online application turnaround time is faster.

    Charge Policy 

    All students with charges over $5 will be given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and milk courtesy of the school for lunch for 2 days only. After 2 courtesy meals if the student does not have money on the account then the student will go without breakfast OR lunch. Any student who has applied for free and reduced will need to continue to pay full pay for their meals until the application has been approved. That status is not retroactive and begins the date the application is approved.
