  • Summer HoursBrookwood Elementary Summer Hours

    Beginning May 31st through July 22nd, Brookwood Elementary School's Front Office will open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 3:00 pm.  The Registration Office is open Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 2:00 pm.

    Brookwood Elementary will be closed during summer on the following dates:

    • June 20th in observance of Juneteenth
    • July 4th - 8th in observance of Independence Day

  • 2022 - 2023 Kindergarten & New Student Registration

    Registration for the 2022 - 2023 school year will open on April 11, 2022.  Please go to the New to Brookwood webpage to get more information about registration.  

    Staff members are available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm to assist with registration. We request that you make an appointment, so we can best serve you. Please call Brookwood Elementary at 770-736-4360 to make an appointment.

  • Back to School Supply Kits with clip art of school supplies Order Your School Supplies for 22-23 School Year!

    Brookwood Elementary PTA would like to help you get a head start on back to school supply shopping for the 2022 - 2023 school year.  Order your student a School Kidz School Supply Kit, and conveniently get your child's school supplies in time for the new school year!

    • School supply kits will be stocked with brand names teachers trust including Ticonderoga, Crayola, Elmer's, and Expo.  
    • Supply kits will be delivered to Brookwood Elementary and your child's new classroom for Meet the Teacher Day on July 28th.
    • The basic supply kit contains all required grade level school supplies except headphones, which can be ordered separately.
    • Paper order forms are due to the school on Wednesday, May 25th.  Online orders (Account #32127) will close on Friday, May 27th.
    • Add-ons items such as backpacks, lunch bags, and water bottles when you place an online order.

  • 2022 Summer Reading Challenge

    Get ready for the Brookwood Elementary Summer Reading Challenge!  The Summer Reading Challenge begins on May 15th and will run throughout the summer until July 31st.  To participate in the challenge, students read books, log their reading minutes on the Beanstack website, and complete activities to earn virtual badges.  Students who complete 8 or more virtual badges will be rewarded in the Fall with a visit to the GCPS Bookmobile to pick a FREE book. 
     
    How do you get started on the Summer Reading Challenge?  
    1. Go to Brookwood Elementary page of the Beanstack website.
    2. Log in with your GCPS student number and 4-digit birthdate (MMDD)
    3. Log your reading on the Beanstack website.
    4. Earn virtual badges!

  • Parent Vue App and logo Parent Vue App - Now Available

    The Synergy Parent mobile app, ParentVUE, is now available for use. The app is available in the Apple App Store, as well as the Google Play StoreAn active Parent Portal account is required to log in to ParentVUE.

    • It will allow parents, who have a parent portal account, to view schedules, grades, see when assignments are due, view graduation requirements, find missing assignments, and view other important student information.
    • If you have a Parent Portal account you will use the same log in username (email) and password that you use online.

  • Box Tops for EducationBox Tops for Education

    No more clipping!  Scan your receipt!

    All money collected from boxtops goes directly to buy PE equipment for Brookwood Elementary. There is a new system starting this year where you download the FREE Boxtops for Education App and scan your receipt. The boxtops will automatically upload to our school's account. Just be sure to select BROOKWOOD ELEMENTARY SNELLVILLE, GA when you set up the app (There are SEVERAL Brookwood Elem. schools to choose from.) This video, will show you how the process works.

  • 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grade Students Can Receive Help via Tutor.com

    Beginning Wednesday, April 8th, the Gwinnett County Public Library is partnering with Gwinnett County Public Schools to provide online tutoring support to 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade Gwinnett students through Tutor.com. Students will need a library account to access the service. They will be able to sign on for individual tutoring sessions daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. and for 24/7 “drop-off” support (uploading a document for tutor review/feedback to be returned at a later time).

    Find all the information you need to take advantage of this program by logging into eCLASS. Look for the box pictured below!
