Mission
Mission
The mission of Baggett Elementary Media Center is to provide a warm, caring, supportive environment for all students, staff, family members and community members. We strive to support the school's curriculum and instructional goals. The focus of the media team to build collaborative relationships with the students and staff, emphasizing the use of instructional technology, and providing quality resources that encourage reading and learning. The media center strives to prepare students to become effective and efficient users of information as well life-long learners and readers.

Checkout Policy
How many books can I checkout?
Kindergarten and First Grade - 1 book
Second through Fifth Grade - 2 books
When are the books due back to the Media Center?
All books are checked out for two weeks. Any student may return books when they are finished and checkout new materials. Students may also renew books if they are still reading them after the initial two weeks. There are no fines for overdue books.
What happens if I lose or damage a book?
If library materials are lost or damaged, the cost is $15.00 for a hardback book or $5.00 for a paperback or a magazine. There are no fines for overdue books.

Hours
The Media Center is open to students from 8:15 A.M. - 2:30 P.M. daily.
During the week, students can come to the Media Center with a pass from their teachers. Some teachers schedule to come weekly as a class.
