GEMS Oversight Committee
Gwinnett County Public Schools is inviting parents and guardians, community members, and school district employees to apply for the GEMS Oversight Committee, a group of community and school system representatives charged with the annual review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum standards. The next meeting is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 1, 2022. After the review, the committee recommends revisions and additions to the Superintendent for adoption by the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Committee members serve three-year terms. Those interested in serving school complete the online application no later than Aug. 12.

Welcome to Corley Elementary School. I feel honored to serve as the principal of this amazing school and the entire community of the Berkmar Cluster. My goal is to provide a world-class education and ensure that all students achieve academic success at their highest level. I thank you for your support and welcome your partnership as we work together to provide an outstanding educational experience for all our Corley Scholars! Our theme for the 2022-2023 school year is, “Belonging Begins With Us!” This theme was inspired by YOU, our fantastic community which makes EVERYONE feel right at HOME! Your commitment of love shown to our teachers, administrators, and staff is what makes Corley feel so special! Having this shared spirit of collaboration, enthusiasm, and supporting those in need, is what propels student achievement to even greater heights! I look forward to partnering with you this year!
