    Georgia Milestones Assessment System

    All students will be given Language Arts and Math assessments. Students in eighth grade are also assessed in Science and Social Studies.  In addition, any student enrolled in Algebra 1 is also required to take the Georgia Milestones End of Course test. 

    Testing will take place each day between 9:20am and 11:30am.  Please avoid checking your student out during this time.  If you are unable to avoid appointments during the testing time, it would be best to miss the testing session and take the test during a makeup session. 

    Students must bring their fully charged Chromebook to school each day, so please remind your student to charge it each night before testing.

    Please have students eat a good dinner and get plenty of rest each night before testing and wake up and eat a good breakfast.

    The schedule is as follows:

    • April 24: All Grades - Language Arts Section 1
    • April 25: All Grades - Language Arts Section 2
    • April 26: All Grades - Language Arts Section 3
    • April 27: All Grades - Math Section 1
    • April 28: All Grades - Math Section 2
    • May 2: 8th Grade Only – Science
    • May 3: 8th Grade Only – Social Studies
    • May 4: Algebra 1 EOC Section 1
    • May 5: Algebra 1 EOC Section 2
