Mr. Richard GetrumFrom an early age I knew cars, trucks and motorcycles were of special interest to me. I graduated from Shiloh High School, and immediately went to pursue my career and passion in the automotive business. Taking an unconventional approach to what most of my friends were doing made me question my future and choices. I skipped the four year college route, started working, then signed up for technical school. My career led me in many rewarding and lucrative directions, I transitioned to starting and operating my own business after 13 years in the field. After 10 years of successful operation, training many employees and coaching crossfit I realized my passion laid in helping people achieve their dreams. Being a product of Gwinnett County Public Schools myself, I felt this was a special opportunity to "give back" what so many had given me for many years. I felt I could help educate and inspire future generations to have a meaningful impact on countless lives. The amazing technology in use in today's vehicles ensures the automotive technician who is hardworking and willing to learn will be more than capable of taking care of themselves as well as their loved ones.
