  • Chick-fil-A Spirit Night 

    Join us this Thursday, January 27, for the next FMES spirit night at Chick-fil-A in Dacula between the hours of 5:00-8:00 pm. This event will be a drive-thru service only. BE SURE TO TELL THEM YOU ARE WITH FMES and verify this is PRINTED on your receipt! For FMES  to receive credit for your purchase, please order through the drive-thru and NOT ON THE APP. 15% of the proceeds will be donated to FMES, so be sure to invite your friends. We look forward to seeing everyone at the Chick-Fil-A in Dacula!

  • Digital Day For All Students

    Tuesday, January 25, will be the next built-in digital day. Students will complete assignments for the day at home using their teacher’s eCLASS page or work sent home in a packet. Your child’s teacher will provide more info as the day approaches. Curbside lunch will be available for pickup from 11:00 am -12:00 pm. Buses will also be delivering breakfast and lunch at bus stops.

  • 2021-22 Yearbook Now Available

    Our yearbook is a hardcover, all-color book full of great pictures of school events. The price is $40.00 per book. You may purchase your yearbook at MyPaymentsPlus. The deadline to order is February 1, 2022.

  • FMES Building Brains (B2) Anywhere Afterschool Program

    The B2 Anywhere Afterschool Program will be available onsite at FMES beginning at the end of the school day until 6:30 p.m. The cost of the program would be $60/week or $180/month. The program is CAPS (Childcare and Parent Services) eligible which means that childcare subsidies are available for eligible children in the State of Georgia.   • GCPS Resource Review Committee

    Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) is inviting parents and community members to apply for the district’s Instructional Resources Review Committee (IRRC), a group charged with evaluating print and digital instructional resources. Feedback from the IRRC and teacher reviews will be considered in the selection of resources to pilot in the district. This year’s IRRC will convene on Feb. 22 at the J. Alvin Wilbanks Instructional Support Center (ISC) located at 437 Old Peachtree Road, NW, in Suwanee. Instructional resources will be reviewed for courses in the areas of Health (grades K-9), Mathematics (grades K-5 and select High School courses), Career and Technical Education (select courses in grades 6-12), and Social Studies (select elective courses in grades 9-12). Learn more about the IRRC and complete the application online. The deadline to submit completed applications is Jan. 24.

  • AKS at Home

    AKS at Home   

    The third round of live virtual AKS at Home K-5 sessions are scheduled for January 25, 2022 - February 3, 2022, to support learning in the 3rd nine weeks of the year.

    AKS at Home provides math and language arts resources to support families of children in grades K-5. Through live, grade-specific Zoom sessions, recorded sessions, and helpful tip sheets, families of students in grades K-5 can learn ways to help their children practice key foundational skills they are learning in language arts and math.    

    Who: Parents of all elementary school students   

    What: Zoom sessions and Tip Sheets to support student mastery of AKS foundational skills in Language Arts and Math.

    When: Unit 3  Zoom sessions will be offered January 25 - February 3 in English, Spanish, Korean, and Vietnamese. Please visit the GCPS webpage for grade level dates and times.

  • MVAA 2022 Spring Softball

    Spring recreational softball registration is now open to any student 4-18 yrs. of age.
