  • Great News - Free Access To Online Books - Get Georgia Reading, the statewide reading initiative, worked overtime to get FREE access to myOn online! You now have access to over 6,400 online books and age appropriate news articles that you can share with your students and their families.  Signing in to access these is EASY and FREE for everyone!

    Getting started is easy!

    • Go to to login and start reading.
    • School Name: Get Georgia Reading(type the first few letters and select from the drop-down menu)
    • Username: your county (e.g. gwinnettcounty)
    • Password: read
    • Click the Sign In button and start reading!

  • PTA Needs You! - Our school's PTA sponsors and implements many programs that enrich the school experience for our children. We have a few specific needs for the upcoming school year, including opportunities for leadership roles on some of our committees. Your participation can help ensure these programs continue to benefit our students and community.   • Relay for Life T-ShirtHave you or someone you know been affected by cancer? FMES Relay for Life is creating t-shirts to honor those people. Donate $5.00 to FMES Relay for Life to put their name on the back of the 2020 FMES Relay for Life t-shirt. Each additional name is only $1.00. T-shirts are available to purchase for $15 (sizes S-XL) and $17 (sizes 2XL-3XL). Make checks payable to FMES Relay for Life. PRINT the name of the person(s) neatly on this form. Return the form and your donation to your child's teacher by Friday, April 10.

  • Six Flags Read To Succeed Program - Students reading 6 or more hours will receive a free ticket to the Theme Park for Summer 2020. New This Year: Online Reading Logs. Students received a reading log with an ONLINE TEACHER CODE for students/and or parents to enter reading minutes. The deadline to enter reading logs is April 10. Please enter your reading logs before the deadline to enjoy this thrilling program!

  • 2020-2021 Class Placement Parent Input FormIf you would like the administrative team to consider your input regarding the placement of your children for the upcoming school year, click here to access the input form. The form can also be accessed from the school's web page under “School Announcements”. Please note your input is due by Sunday, April 5, in order to be considered prior to the completion of class lists. This form is to be completed for current Kindergarten - 4th-grade students that will be returning to FMES next school year. If you have a child who will be attending FMES next year as a Kindergarten student, you will be able to complete a Parent Placement Input form at Kindergarten Registration on Thursday,  May 7, from 1:00 - 6:00 p.m.
