  • 2020-21 FMES Yearbook - Deadline Extended!

    This is the FINAL opportunity to purchase our 2020-21 yearbook! It is a hardcover, all-color book full of great pictures of school events. The price is $40.00. The final deadline to guarantee your student receives a yearbook is Tuesday, March 2 at MIDNIGHT. You may purchase your yearbook at MyPaymentsPlus.

  • 2021-22 Class Placement Parent Input Form

    If you would like the administrative team to consider your input regarding the placement of your children for the upcoming school year, click here to access the input form. Please note your input is due by Friday, March 12, in order to be considered prior to the completion of class lists. This form is to be completed for current Kindergarten - 4th-grade students that will be returning to FMES next school year. If you have a child who will be attending FMES next year as a Kindergarten student, you will be able to complete a Parent Placement Input form at Kindergarten Registration on Thursday,  May 6.

  • Twin Rivers MS Virtual 5th Grade Orientation 

    FMES 5th-grade students will attend a virtual orientation in their classroom on Wednesday, February 24. This orientation will allow students to meet the Principal, Assistant Principal, and learn about some experiences of being a 6th grader. Below are links to both Student and Parent Orientations.

  • Be A Freeman’s Mill Sponsor!

    The FMES PTA is looking to partner with local businesses to help us make a big impact on our school and community! And while this school year may not be starting out like “normal” we are still striving to support our students and school in any way we can. We also want to help our community by promoting local businesses. We would love to have your sponsorship and support this year as we work together with the next generation. We have modified the program to best fit this year and hope that you will find a way to partner with the parents, teachers, and children in our local community. We would love to have you as one of our 2020-2021 community sponsors. We are looking for sponsors to provide a donation to support multiple programs this upcoming year to benefit Freeman’s Mill students. With all the challenges that Covid-19 continues to present the PTA is committed to helping our students and teachers in every way possible. 

    Silver Level Sponsorship: $250

    • You will receive a sponsorship window cling
    • Your logo will be placed on the school website. 
    • Invited to participate in PTA sponsored school activities. 
    • Your logo will be part of the banner on our Facebook Page for the 20-21 school year
    • Your business will be featured as the sponsor of “The Mill” (our weekly school newsletter) for two weeks during the year with a brief note from your business. 
    • Your logo featured on our electronic sign on Old Peachtree Road (normally a Gold level benefit) 
    • A special shout-out post with a flyer (you will need to provide) on our FMES PTA Facebook page twice during the year. (If we are able to go back to on-campus learning this can be exchanged for 2 flyers sent home in Friday folders)

     As a special bonus, if you sign on to sponsor us this year then next year you will get to receive the Gold Level sponsorship at the Silver Level price, a $50 savings.

  • Coca-Cola Give Program

    We’re excited to share that our school is part of the Coca-Cola Give program. This program provides funding to purchase learning materials for our students. The best part? Donations don’t come out of your own pocket. When you make Coca-Cola purchases, you simply enter the product codes here: coke.com/give/schools or you can send in caps with your child and we will enter them for you.  Every code counts, so spread the word to friends and family.

  • GCPS Parent Survey

    The Gwinnett County Public Schools Parent Survey will be administered from February 8 through February 26. Due to the pandemic, GCPS is administering a contactless version of the survey this year. There will be no paper or school computer option. Parents will receive an email via SchoolMessenger with an invitation to complete a survey for each school at which they have one or more enrolled students. The survey will be available in English, Spanish, Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese and will be accessed using the link and unique code provided in the SchoolMessenger email.  Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.

  • GCPS Adjustments To Second Semester Calendar

    GCPS School Board approved adjustments to this year’s calendar, affecting 2nd semester. The district will add four digital learning days during the semester (January 26, March 2, March 16, and April 20). These will be asynchronous learning days where students will learn from home, providing teachers additional days for planning during the semester.
