  • Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) invites parents, community members, and school district employees to apply for the GEMS Oversight Committee, a group of community and school system representatives charged with the annual review of the Academic Knowledge and Skills (AKS) curriculum. The next meeting is scheduled for Oct. 28, 2021. After the annual review, the committee recommends revisions and additions to the superintendent for adoption by the Gwinnett County Board of Education. Committee members serve a three-year term. Those interested in serving should complete the online application no later than Aug. 13.

      SY21-22 Free and Reduced Price Application is now available. 

      In order to maintain Free and Reduced Price eligibility for purposes other than meals, all parents are encouraged to fill out a new application for SY21-22.

       

       

      • The online application form will be available 24/7 and is a secure environment.
      • Parents are welcome to complete and submit an online application form at any time.
      • When you submit your online form, please make sure you receive a confirmation number.
      • Later, you will be able to use this number to find out the status of your child’s online application.

    GCPS schools and facilities may close in the event of hazardous weather or other emergencies which present threats to the safety of students, staff, or school property. The superintendent makes the decision about school closing based on a cross-divisional and cross-agency effort.

    Nutrition News and Meal Charge Policy: Parents may go to mypaymentsplus to add money to your students accounts. Meal charges will be limited to $12.00. No charging allowed after April, 2019
