Student Transcripts and Record Requests

  • DURING THE SUMMER: transcript and record orders placed each week by Wednesday before 5 pm will be available for pick up on Fridays between 8 am and 1 pm at the front desk. See below for instructions on how to order records based on your year of graduation.                                                                                                     *Also note- ALL RECORD ORDERS PLACED BETWEEN JUNE 24TH AND JULY 5TH WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL JULY 9TH

  • Transcript Order Clarification - Please note when ordering transcripts from MyPaymentsPlus, there are 3 options:

    Official transcripts - $5 each - This is a PAPER copy of your transcript. The transcript has the school seal and is placed in a sealed envelope for the student to mail out, as needed.

    Unofficial transcripts - $1 each - This is a PAPER copy of your transcript. It is the same transcript as the official transcript but does not have the school seal and is not in a sealed envelope. NOTE: Updated 2021 unofficial transcripts can be printed anytime from your parent portal, under StudentVue/Documents (This is identical to the copy we would give you).

    Naviance transcripts - $5 each - This option should be used to order transcripts for all ELECTRONIC orders. (ie, if you want your transcript sent electronically to a college.)

    Please choose one of the following 3 options to determine what you need to do in order to obtain your student records:
  • Current Students

    Current students can request and pay for transcripts on MyPaymentsPlus, under school fees. You can choose to pick up the ordered transcript or have it mailed to your home address (we do not mail directly to colleges). If you choose to pick up your transcript, please allow 2 business days from the day the order was placed. Then, it may be picked up in the counseling office, room 411 anytime during school hours.

  • 2021 and 2020 Graduates

    You can email the form to amy.cornett@gcpsk12.org or bring the completed form to the Counseling Office (Room 411).

    Please note: Graduates, age 18 or over, must order their transcript themselves. If you need a parent or another person to pick up your transcript, you must fill out the above form and email it, along with a copy of your picture ID, to amy.cornett@gcpsk12.org, giving permission for the other person to pick up the transcript. 

    Reminders: Please allow one business day for processing. You will need to provide ID and payment before records are released. *Cash or check only.*

    • Official transcripts are $5.00
    • Unofficial transcripts are $1.00
    • Immunization copies are $1.00

    Pick up hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM

  • 2019 and Prior Year Graduates

    North Gwinnett High School no longer has these records on file. You will need to either visit the GCPS Records Office website here to order records online or you can reach them by phone at 678-301-6144.

  • Final Transcripts

    All graduating seniors will receive one free official transcript, which will be available for pick up at the front desk between 8AM and 1PM, beginning June 14th.
     
    This transcript will be in a sealed North Gwinnett High School envelope. DO NOT OPEN THE ENVELOPE! Since the envelope has a seal and North Gwinnett's return address, it will be accepted by colleges and universities as coming directly from NGHS if it is unopen and the seal is not broken.
     
    **Again, STUDENTS are responsible for getting this final transcript to their college or university. NGHS does NOT send final transcripts by mail, e-mail or Naviance.
     
    If you wish to order additional transcripts, you can request the additional copies through MyPaymentsPlus before May 26th (make sure to order the "final high school transcript"), and you will be able to pick up those transcripts at the same time. See Ms. Cornett in the counseling office, or email amy.cornett@gcpsk12.org for more details.
