Welcome to the Grayson Technical Education Program! We are so excited about the upcoming school year. Without a doubt, your class will be one of the most innovative student bodies Grayson Tech has ever seen. We have high expectations for you here and look forward to helping you achieve all of your academic goals. In preparation for the upcoming school year, we want to share a few informational items:
1. Grayson Tech will be near enrollment capacity. Most programs have a wait list. Please notify our office at email@example.com if you are planning on not attending.
2. Your teachers will be introducing themselves to you via e-class and the portal. They will be sending you an e-mail with information about what is needed for their program.
3. Classes at Grayson Technical will begin the first day of school, August 12, 2020. You will be attending digitally here at Grayson Technical during your assigned program time. Teachers will teach virtually until GCPS returns to face-to-face instruction. Expectations for virtual attendance and participation are:
Log-in daily to your e-class page as this is how attendance it taken.
Come prepared to engage and learn. If it is a live session, you are expected to have your video on and participate just as you would in the classroom.
Remember all school rules apply while you are engaged with teachers and students virtually.
4. The class times for the Grayson Technical program are:
AM block – 7:15 – 9:45
PM block – 11:50-2:10
We hope this letter addresses any immediate questions you may have about the start of the school year at the Grayson Technical Education Program. Enjoy the rest of your summer and we look forward to a fun-filled and productive school year!
