  • Superintendent Search Survey

    The Gwinnett County Board of Education is moving forward in its search to identify the school district's next superintendent. An essential part of the search process is obtaining feedback from stakeholders, including families, students, staff, and others in the community. We invite you to participate in an online survey to share your thoughts on the qualities you would like to see in the next superintendent. The survey is open through 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, May 16, and is available in English, Spanish, Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese.

  • Georgia Special Needs Scholarship (SB10)

    Under a state law passed by the Georgia State Legislature in 2007, parents of students who receive special education services may request to transfer their child to another public or private school in Georgia provided that their child has an IEP and has been enrolled for a full academic year in a Georgia public school.

    Gwinnett County Public Schools Parent Mentors provide parents of students who receive special education services in GCPS information, guidance, and resources to help support their children at home, school, and in their communities.     Students complete digital content asynchronously online. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in on-campus labs, clubs, and activities or login virtually to synchronous sessions one day per week for grades 6-12 and 2 days per week for grades 4-5.

    Thanks to generous funding from the PTA the Media Center is able to hosts multiple programs to extend the curriculum. Programs range from presentations, author visits, storytellers, and hands-on lab explorations.
