A Note From Your Administrator
Dear Parents and Guardians,
On behalf of the staff at Northbrook Middle School, I am happy to welcome you to the 2018-19 school year! We are looking forward to a productive partnership with you to ensure our children can achieve their highest potential. We recognize that in order to be successful in school, our children need support from both home and school. We know a strong relationship with you will make a great difference in your child’s education. As partners, we share the responsibility for our children’s success and want you to know that at Northbrook, we will do our very best to carry out our responsibilities.
I’m very passionate about education and I look forward to working with you to provide our students with a rigorous, engaging, and high-quality middle school experience. As a parent who has raised two children, I recognize the importance of a strong home-school connection. Parents are every child’s first teacher, and I believe that by working together, we can make sure your child’s social, emotional, and academic needs are met.
Today, you will be receiving an abundance of information from your child's teachers and the school in general. Please take the time to review the content and behavior expectations with your child, and be sure to sign and return all required documents.
7th grade is a very exciting and challenging year for students, but with the help of you, our outstanding teachers, and me, we will be able to ensure a very happy and successful school year. Again, it is truly my pleasure to work with you this year. It was great to meet many of you at Open House, and anyone I did not meet, I look forward to meeting you in the near future. I am here to assist you and your child and will continue to offer an open door policy. Should you have any questions, comments, or concerns please feel free to contact me via email at firstname.lastname@example.org or my direct line at 678-407-7136.
