Mrs. Sheri Tolar, Assistant Principal

Grades PreK and 3rd-5th, Special Education, Dual Language Immersion Program, Gifted & Advanced Content Programs, ESOL, & Access Testing

Sheri Tolar grew up in Atlanta and graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. She also obtained her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from Mercer University. Mrs. Tolar has been working for Gwinnett County Public Schools since 1999. She taught at the elementary level from 1999-2019 at both Berkeley Lake Elementary School in Duluth and Level Creek Elementary School in Suwanee. She has taught grades 1, 3, and 4, as well as supported students in the Early Intervention Program, ESOL, and Gifted Programs K-5th. Mrs. Tolar joined the Parsons community in August 2019 as an Assistant Principal.  

Mrs. Tolar lives in Suwanee with her family. Her older son attends North Gwinnett High School, while her younger son attends North Gwinnett Middle School. The Tolar family is very active in the North Gwinnett community with football and lacrosse. When Mrs. Tolar is not working, you will find her at a sports field supporting her sons, spending time with friends, or traveling.
