Mrs. Laura J. Clark, Assistant Principal Grades 3-5 Focus, Testing
Laura J. Clark is an educator, wife, and mother. She grew up in Dacula, GA and attended North Georgia College where she studied Early Childhood Education. After obtaining her first teaching job she immediately began her Master’s Program. After several years of teaching in various grades, including Reading Recovery, she decided to pursue a degree in Leadership. She considers herself a lifelong learner, and she is passionate about education. She has been in education for 27 years and has served as an Assistant Principal for 13 years in Gwinnett County Public Schools.
Ms. Clark is married to Troy Clark, who also works for Gwinnett County Public Schools. They have two children; Chase who attends Oglethorpe University and Kailey Ann who is a junior at Mill Creek High School. When Mrs. Clark is not working, she enjoys reading, spending time with her family and attending sporting events. Football and baseball are BIG things at the Clark house.
This is Mrs. Clark’s third year as an Assistant Principal at Parsons. She looks forward to working alongside the wonderful leaders, parents, and teachers.
