Degrees and Certifications:

Mr. Lenie George, Principal

Greetings Parsons Family,

It is my great pleasure to serve as the PROUD principal of Parsons Elementary.  I am incredibly honored and humbled to join this amazing community.  Parsons Elementary takes pride in inspiring our students to ‘achieve and believe’.  It brings me immense joy to be able to serve our students and our #OneRidge community, and I am eager to embark on this educational journey together with you all.

I am proud to say that I’m a homegrown product of Gwinnett County schools, as a graduate from Brookwood High School.  I studied Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, and then began my teaching career at Benito Juarez Community Academy, in Chicago Public Schools.  I continued my journey through education by returning home to Georgia, where I worked with University of Georgia’s Archway Partnership, and The New Teacher Project (TNTP).  I affectionately say that I’m a yellowjacket and a bulldog at heart!  For the past six years, I have served as an Assistant Principal for Summerour Middle School.

When I’m not at school, you’ll find me enjoying time spent with my family.  My wife Namratha and I have three little ones - Rhea (7), Silas (5), and Sahil (3).  I’m excited to say that Rhea and Silas will be joining the Parsons family this school year!

From my first moments at Parsons, I’ve been greeted with a true feeling of authentic family. As a principal, I look forward to continuing in the tradition of Parsons, where each and every child has a genuine sense of belonging, and stands on academic excellence.  My role is to continue to foster a strong collaboration and pride, as we create opportunities for all students to thrive.  I believe that we are a community that supports and uplifts one another, in pursuit of greatness for each and every child.  Thank you for welcoming me into the OneRidge family.  Let us embark on this exciting journey together, and show the true meaning of Parsons PRIDE!
