    Dear Parent or Caregiver,
Did you know that when kids read over the summer they are more likely to leap ahead when they return to school? This is often called the “summer leap,” and we’ve made it a priority to keep your child’s skills sharp by encouraging them to read all summer long. This year students who read throughout the summer will be invited to a Books are Magic Summer of Reading Celebration party when they return to school in the fall. Our goal is for the students to discover the joy and magic of reading.

All you have to do is read 3 or more books and complete three activities. Make sure you write the book titles and author names on the reading log correctly, have your parent sign your sheet, and then return both the completed log along with your completed projects to the media center on the first day of school August 5, 2019.
