• When asked about being the Promise of Gwinnett, Selam said, “Dr. Welch sees something in me and sees something in all of us as Promise of Gwinnett students as we share that same potential and inspiration that we have to others around us. The greatest impact has been our cultural pride and awareness, which has shaped who we are. Because of him, new students to our cluster now walk into our school with Mustang Pride.” My Le, Student Body Vice-President, added that “Dr. Welch connects to everyone around him, which has enhanced our experience as students. You leave the conversation feeling mature and empowered to conqueror anything.” Both students have attended schools in the Meadowcreek Cluster since kindergarten.
