CTSO enhances student learning through leadership and personal development, applied learning and real-world application.
CTSO is a vital part of Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE). CTSOs play an integral role in preparing students to become college and career ready members of society who hold productive leadership roles in their communities. CTSOs are committed to the growth of students in all CTAE career pathways.
Students in the School of International Business at Meadowcreek can participate in the following CTSOs: DECA, FBLA, SkillsUSA, and ProStart.
DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.
Georgia FBLA is the premier organization for Georgia’s student leaders interested in careers in business.
SkillsUSA is a partnership of students, teachers and industry working together to ensure America has a skilled workforce. SkillsUSA helps each student excel. We provide educational programs, events and competitions that support career and technical education in the nation’s classrooms.
ProStart is a career and technical education program that unites the foodservice industry and the classroom to teach high school students’ culinary skills and restaurant management principles, as well as employability skills such as communication, teamwork, professionalism and time management.
