• Dear Parents,  

    Summer break is quickly approaching!! While we certainly want the children to rest and have lots of FUN, we also want them to keep their academic skills sharp this summer. We have strived to instill a love of learning in all of the students, and it is our hope that you will help them continue this work over the summer so as not to lose the valuable skills they have acquired this year. Each grade level will have a REQUIRED summer reading assignment.  

     

    As a brief overview, students will read ONE literary text and ONE informational text and complete some tasks that go along with the text.

    Estimados padres,
     
    Las vacaciones de verano se acercan rápidamente!! Si bien queremos que los niños descansen y se diviertan mucho, también queremos que mantengan sus habilidades académicas al día este verano. Nos hemos esforzado por inculcar el amor por el aprendizaje en todos los estudiantes, y esperamos que los ayude a continuar con este trabajo durante el verano para no perder las valiosas habilidades que han adquirido este año. Cada nivel de grado tendrá una tarea de lectura de verano OBLIGATORIA.
     
    Como breve resumen, los estudiantes leerán UN texto literario y UN texto informativo y completarán algunas tareas que acompañan al texto.
