    The Counselors at Norcross High School work with students one-on-one, through classroom guidance, and in small groups. Students seek services for a host of issues, both psychosocial and educational in nature. A counselor's caseload is determined by the student's last name and grade level.

  • Confidentiality Policy

    A school counselor, who is in a counseling relationship with a student, has an ethical and legal obligation to keep information contained within that relationship. Confidentiality is the ethical and legal term ascribed to the information communicated within the counseling relationship, and it must be maintained unless keeping that information confidential leads to foreseeable harm.

    The mission of Norcross High School Counseling Department is to support and assist all students in acquiring the knowledge, skills, and behavior to thrive in their current and post-secondary pursuits. We provide a comprehensive, data driven program that addresses academic, career/college readiness, and social/emotional development needs of our diverse student population. The counseling staff works closely with students, teachers, administrators, parents and community members to ensure that all students receive an equitable, world-class education. We encourage students to be intrinsically motivated, self-disciplined, empathic beings, and life-long learners.

Students will live a life of continuous personal and social growth while engaging and interacting in their communities as world-class, life-long learners who are socially conscious and global thinkers equipped to impact their communities and the world.
