  • WELCOME RISING NINTH GRADERS!

    Rising Ninth Grade Student/Parent Information

NOTE: This page is for students coming from Summerour & Pickneyville Middle Schools. All other rising ninth grade students, please find new student registration information here.

The Norcross cluster of schools has two outstanding options for rising ninth graders to choose from as they enter high school. Students and their families will have the opportunity to learn about Norcross High School and Paul Duke High School in October and November. Students will submit their choice for high school along with their elective course selections the first week of December. The full high school selection timeline is now available

Below is a calendar of events students and parents can attend to learn more about Norcross High School. Recordings to these meetings will be shared when they are available. In addition, several other documents/resources are included on the right side of this page to help students and parents make an informed decision.

Students & Parents: It’s time to think about your courses for next year. As you consider which courses you wish to take, keep in mind that Norcross High School does yearlong registration. This means that whatever you elect to take in the spring will be your classes for the entire next school year. Therefore, you need to make sure you CAREFULLY consider your choices. We hire teachers in the spring based upon your decisions in all areas. We are unable to make schedule changes after the March 5th deadline. “Changing your mind” about taking a course is not a valid reason for a schedule change so please choose wisely and plan ahead.
