Kristi Rhine

Health and PE Teacher/Department Chair

Mrs. Kristi Rhine is the Health and PE department chair for Gwinnett Online Campus. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sports Medicine and a master's of education in Health and Physical Education. Mrs. Rhine joined GOC full-time in the Fall of 2011, but has taught Health and PE classes with GOC since 2005. She was the 2016-2017 GOC Teacher of the Year, and the 2018 Marilyn Brackett Excellence in Physical Education Award winner for the county. Before joining GOC full-time, Mrs. Rhine was a teacher and head coach at Grayson High School for 11 years. During that 11 year span she served as department chair for five years, the head track and field coach for 10 years, and the head softball coach for four years. During her head coaching career the softball team won two state championships, and the track team had one region team championship, a 5th place finish in state, an individual state champion, and several state runner-ups.
