Audio, Video, Technology, and Film

The Audio/Video Technology and Film (AVTF) Pathway encompass many career options.  Students in this field have the opportunity to obtain a variety of skills.  In this pathway, students can explore careers in film production, broadcast, and post-production editing.   Upon completing the AVTF Level 3 course, students will take the Adobe Certification Associate (ACA) certification test for Premier Pro, which is one of the industry standard editing software used in Television, Film, and Web. This certification provides students with credentials that demonstrate real-world training to prospective employers and academic institutions.

Law Enforcement Services / Forensic Science / Criminal Justice

The law enforcement pathway is for any student looking to serve and protect his/her community through a career related to our justice system. Students can look to move in many directions with opportunities at the local, state or federal level. This pathway can allow students to continue their studies at the university level and major in these fields or directly enter the workforce in a variety of jobs from police, sheriff or correctional officers, to working for private companies that provide protective or investigative services. Careers in public safety and criminal justice offer diverse opportunities.

Legal Services / Applications of Law

Students who are interested in the practice of law and legal services will study both criminal and civil law. They will develop critical thinking skills used to apply the law to various factual situations and to defend choices, decisions and actions. This pathway focuses on the judicial process and constitutional rights of citizens and leads to careers in the courthouse including judges, lawyers, and paralegals.

Teaching As A Profession

Teaching as a Profession prepares candidates for future positions in the field of education. Students will study, apply and practice the skills used in a real classroom. Student are given opportunities to practice these skills at a variety of elementary and secondary schools.
