• Digital Learning Days

  • For the 2021-2022 school year, there are six planned Digital Learning Days (DLDs) scheduled throughout the year for teacher planning/staff development.

    • Tuesday, September 14
    • Wednesday, October 20
    • Tuesday, November 9
    • Tuesday, January 25
    • Wednesday, March 2
    • Tuesday, March 22

On these days, all students will learn from home by completing assignments at their own pace. Learning will be asynchronous, meaning students will not have live Zoom or Google Meet sessions. Students who are unable to complete assignments on these DLDs will be given the opportunity to complete assignments when they return to school.

Note: The GCPS calendar for 2021-2022 does not include designated inclement weather make-up days. GCPS will make up any inclement weather days by using Digital Learning Days (DLDs) and/or extending the school day or year. For more information regarding inclement weather procedures, please visit the GCPS website.

Teachers will post assignments on their eCLASS pages.

    • High school assignments will be posted by 8 AM.
    • Elementary school assignments will be posted by 9 AM.
    • Middle school assignments will be posted by 10 AM.

Head Elementary teachers will be monitoring their page throughout the day if students or parents have any questions. Please email your child's teacher if you have any questions or issues.

  • How Do Students Login?

Visit the eCLASS login page to access the My eCLASS Student Portal.

User ID = student ID number
    Password = student's birthdate (mmddyyyy)

For example, if your student’s birth occurred on June 9, 2015, their reset password would be 06092015.

Please follow these directions to get to the Student Portal and to your teacher's eCLASS page.

  • Additional Info

Students will use the My eCLASS Student Portal to log into their eCLASS pages where they will access assignments, resources, and other materials.

Students will access assignments through eCLASS C&I course pages, but teachers also may use digital resources such as Google Classroom, SAFARI Montage, etc... to post content.

If the power is out during an inclement weather digital learning day, a student may access the teacher’s eCLASS page when power returns. If a student does not have access to a computer or device (tablet, smartphone, etc.), the student can get the assignment once school resumes. Student work will be expected to be turned in to the teacher (either digitally or in-person).
