GCPS Summer Learning ResourcesAs GCPS continues to consider the safety of our students and staff, there will be no Face to Face summer school this summer as the county had hoped to provide. The following GCPS Summer Learning Resources are available to support students at all grade levels during the summer. These online resources will assist those students who were recommended for summer school, while also providing practice and enrichment for others.Summer Reading and WritingThe GCPS Language Arts Department has created a great resource for parents to promote summer reading and writing. Check out the flyer that highlights numerous literacy activities that your child could participate in over the summer.
Click here to access an Early Learning (birth to five) calendar for April. Activities included in this calendar are designed for families with children ages 0-5. However, young infants may not be able to perform these tasks. Parents are encouraged to complete the activities themselves with their infants close to them while talking about what they are doing and describing the activities as they do them.
