GSMST Community School
The GSMST Community School serves as a link to our students and to our community after the typical school day ends.
We work to provide class offerings to our students and community, and to also provide organizations and individuals opportunities to rent portions of our facility for a variety of functions. Please click on the tabs above for more information.

Summer 2020 Driver's Ed Class
Due to the current pandemic, GSMST will not be offering a summer driver's education class. We plan to offer our next class in September, 2020 if conditions allow. As soon as we receive more guidance from the state and district, we will announce the exact registration dates and procedures.
This course consists of 30 hours of classroom instruction followed by 6 hours of behind the wheel instruction.
- Must have learner’s permit.
- Must attend all 30 hours of class.
- The fee is $345
- You can pay by credit card on My Payments Plus or pay by cash or check in person at GSMST.
- Complete and submit the 2020 Driver's Ed Contract with payment.
Facility rentals at GSMST
GSMST has a variety of spaces available for rental.

Summer 2020 Online Health & Personal Fitness:
$250 for each course, payable on MyPaymentsPlus - under the Community School Section.
Health: May 26 - June 15
The only day you have to report to GSMST is June 15, for the final exam (time TBD).

*To take Online PE you must have access to a phone with a fitness tracking app which you will carry or wear during exercise to track your pace (Fitbit app is recommended and is a free download to any smartphone).
Course Offerings at Maxwell High School of Technology
Maxwell High School of Technology is located on the same campus as GSMST and serves Gwinnett County students during the day time by teaching a wide variety of industry-related skills.
During the evening, the Maxwell HS Community School is proud to serve all of Gwinnett County by offering courses to community members of all ages.
Courses offered include:
Beginning Welding - for individuals that are 18 years and older (students that are currently in high school may also attend with a parent who must also register for the course)
