  • Ms. Clark

  • Ms. Phoebe Clark is currently the Director of Orchestras at Pinckneyville Middle School in Peachtree Corners, Georgia. The program includes over 150 students and they participate in several Georgia Music Educators Association Orchestra events such as Solo & Ensemble and Large Group Performance Evaluation. Students have also been a part of Gwinnett County Kendall Honor Orchestra.

    Ms. Clark is a product of Gwinnett County Public Schools— her alma mater is the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science, and Technology. She obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education from the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia and is currently pursuing her Master of Music Education degree from Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. Before her appointment to Pinckneyville Middle in Fall 2019, Ms. Clark was the Director of Orchestras at Discovery High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

    Thanks to study abroad opportunities, Ms. Clark has had the opportunity to perform in both orchestras and as a solo cellist in China and Italy. Ms. Clark is currently a cellist in the BellaNota string quartet, who perform at weddings, engagements, and other events in the Atlanta area. She is also a concert cellist in the Georgia Philharmonic orchestra, who perform in Roswell, Georgia. Ms. Clark’s professional affiliations include the National Association for Music Educators, the Georgia Music Educators Association, and the American String Teachers Association. She has presided over professional development sessions at national and state conferences.

    Ms. Clark has family in Charleston, South Carolina and a younger brother living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She resides in metro Atlanta and enjoys practicing yoga and running long-distance outdoors.
