Held the first Saturday in May, the Book Mobile 5K is an annual springtime fundraising event, benefiting the GCPS Book Mobile program. The event unites participants of all ages and athletic abilities to raise funds to purchase new books that go directly into students’ hands. Children keep these books as part of their own personal library. Participants enjoy a family-friendly atmosphere before and after the event that includes vendor exhibits, games, and more!
