• Rising 9th Grade Registration

We are very excited to welcome our rising 9th graders to Collins Hill!  The process and timeline for registration will be posted on this page so please check back frequently for updates.

Step 1:  View this recording from Mr. Maffeo, our CHHS Curriculum AP, which gives an overview of the registration process.

Step 2: Review this typical 9th grade schedule and then spend some time exploring the elective courses offered at CHHS which can be found in the 2022-2023 Elective Booklet.

Step 3: By February 18, please submit your Rising 9th Grade Course Selection Form.  You MUST be logged into your school g-suite account to access this form.  You can do this by logging into MYeCLASS and clicking Google Workspace.  Here is the recording of the meeting Mr. Maffeo held with students from Creekland: https://gcpsk12-org.zoom.us/rec/share/1D8j8K3ByMoHqagkr-XKAw18yyHUDqz0z3NYlHGtBu4B8SQX8dFlwhupUJin1Ody.UQekAbo3qAJhiWci

    Step 4: Registration Timeline

Step 5:  Schedule Confirmation and Final Steps

Based on student requests and teacher recommendations, course requests have been added to each student’s schedule for the next school year for review.  While these are only requests and have not been fit into a schedule, we would like for students and families to review these courses to ensure their accuracy.  All students should have 6 courses per semester listed for review (each course will appear twice, once per each semester).

    • Rising 9th Grade schedules will include a language arts course, math course, science course, health, personal fitness, and 2 elective courses.
    • 10th Grade - 12th Grade schedules will include a language arts course, math course, science course, social studies course, and 2 elective courses.

Students and parents can review Course Requests through the StudentVue app or in the Student Portal.

If you would like to drop or add a course, you can fill-out the Core Area Change Form for language arts, math, science, or social studies classes or the Elective Drop/Add Form for all other courses by Friday, March 25, 2022.

Please make an appointment with your counselor if you have any questions.
