    As part of our ongoing mission to provide your children with more learning per class than at any other school, we are participating in the Away for the Day initiative and removing the distraction of cell phones from our campus. It will be the expectation that cell phones are off and put away while students are on our campus. If you need to reach your child during the day, call the front office, email teachers, or stop by with a valid GA DL. If your child needs to reach you, they may email you with their GCPS Chromebook or request the use of one of the many school phones located throughout the campus.

    While we anticipate overwhelming cooperation with this policy, should a cell phone be visible to our staff, the cell phone will be collected, the parent will be contacted and the phone will be available for the student to pick up at the end of the day. Additional incidents would require a parent to pick up the cell phone and document discipline.
