Tips for Great Projects

• Test project on a variety of machines before submitting to the festival.
• Save projects in a format that doesn't require specialized software to view.
• Be sure to embed audio with the project - listen to the project on several different machines before sending them.
• Double-check for spelling and grammatical errors.
• Including Producer and Talent Media Release forms for each student involved with the project.
• Follow copyright guidelines and include permission from copyright holders.
• Use copyright free music websites such as AirCraft Music Library.
• Be sure no two projects have similar names - and avoid labeling them numerically. (ie. SnowDay #1, SnowDay #2, etc.).
• Be creative! Have fun with your project, and be sure to ask at least one other person to proof and provide input on your entry.
